What members will see
Catalogues show the front of the box. A box has five other faces, and on the good ones the interesting part is inside.
Every side, square to the camera
Front, back, both sides, top and bottom. The back is where the alternative models were printed — often the only surviving record of what else the set could build.
The fold-out flap, opened
Larger sets came in boxes with a hinged lid that opened to a printed interior. Shelved and forgotten, photographed almost nowhere.
The vacuum-formed inlay
The clear plastic tray that held the pieces in place behind the window. Thrown away first, missing from nearly every surviving box.
